JTechWorks provides consulting and programming services to organizations that cover a range of industries. Over the years JTechWorks has created long-term relationships with many companies. Our clients range from start-up firms to established companies in diverse industries.

Following is a partial list of our clients with accompanying case studies:

Griswold Special Care is an international non-medical home care company referring caregivers who provide personal care, homemaking and companionship to the elderly and infirm. With a central managing office and several branch offices communication is essential to providing quality services.

Griswold Special Care managed their cases with multiple Microsoft Access databases that they had outgrown.

JTechWorks designed a browser-based case management system with a centralized database to run on a company intranet. Branch offices are able to log in securely via a Virtual Private Network and have immediate access to the most current information on all cases.

Management and Remote Office Reports are easily run from the browser, data can be downloaded to Excel, and the Administrator has an Access Interface to the mySQL database for ad hoc reporting.

Author Patti Lawson had a simple web site describing how her life-changing experience of adopting Sadie and getting a new leash on life lead to writing a book. In the months leading up to the April 2006 publication of The Dog Diet Patti wanted a custom-designed web site that promoted the book and her appearances.

JTechWorks designed and created a new web site that incorporated the look of the book cover and illustrations of Sadie used in the book. The site includes information on purchasing The Dog Diet, press contact information and news highlights. In addition there are pages for Patti's book signing schedule and speaking engagement pages which are updated regularly.

A natural extension of Patti's website was The Dog Diet blog to showcase Dogs, Diets, Dating, her newspaper column, and other entertaining events that occurred during her book tour. Patti adds entries to the blog of Sadie's adventures, including her date with "Duke" Bush, as easily as working in a word processing program.

Power Court Search is a provider of criminal record searches for pre-employment background screening.

With many years of experience providing public records information directly to clients, Power Court Search wanted to offer a self-service, online option to attract clients looking for 24X7 access.

Existing data was housed in a Microsoft Access database. JTechWorks developed an interface to export the data into a MySQL database and an easy-to-use, web-based program using Adobe's ColdFusion for client searches. Monthly updates received from the State are processed locally to match the MySQL database then uploaded to the online server, ensuring clients have access to the most recent data.

The online program includes a tracking ticket system that allows clients to create a support ticket from their search information. Power Court Search staff review the ticket information and respond to the client. They update the ticket, maintaining a record of their interaction with the client and the outcome.

Foley-Baker repairs and reconditions pipe organs. Their service and the quality of their work is well-known throughout the northeast.

Foley-Baker's online presence had been a one-page website that did little to demonstrate their capabilities or to attract national attention.

JTechWorks created a new site for Foley-Baker that includes a tour of their recently completed pipe organ renovation project at Boston's Symphony Hall, as well as details all of the services they provide.

Their new site is optimized for organic search engine positioning, allowing them to attract clients in markets throughout the United Sates that need their expertise.

The Talbot Group is an independent relocation counseling company. Recognized as the fastest-growing privately-held company in Central Connecticut in 2004, they had no website and risked loosing opportunities generated by the award publicity.

They needed an online strategy that included an image that was consistent with their print materials but had that the flexibility to change as they continue to grow.

JTechWorks created a website with The Talbot Group's corporate look. The site has grown as services are added and now includes an email newsletter sign up. The site is optimized for search engine placement, and currently has high rankings for Academic Relocation Services, one of their specialties.

National Research Associates, Inc provides pre-employment screening services to corporate clients.

National Research came to JTechWorks with an idea for a web-enabled ordering system. JTechWorks created an online order entry application where clients can conveniently and securely order confidential screening reports.

National Research benefits by having control over the order entry format and by having all of their service offerings available to clients. Their order processing has been streamlined through downloads or interfaces and they now have a detailed client request database.

National Research and their clients are able to run real-time reports on order activity.

JTechWorks also created a corporate information web site for National Research as part of an overall marketing campaign.

A Victorian Sentiment Bed and Breakfast, Destiny Spa is a B&B specializing in relaxing spa treatments.

Although A Victorian Sentiment prefers a low-tech existence, the owner saw the value of a web site for promoting her business and chose JTechWorks to create an online presence.

A virtual tour through the mansion highlights the antique beauty of the rooms and amenities. The web site has become an integral part of A Victorian Sentiment's ongoing marketing strategy.

The Prudence Crandall Center, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that provides comprehensive services to victims of domestic violence.

JTechWorks designed their web site, which provides PCC an online presence and an additional means of communicating their message to victims and the public as well as collecting online donations.
